Cancer Research UK is the world's leading independent organisation dedicated to cancer research. We support research into all aspects of cancer through the work of more than 4,250 scientists, doctors and nurses. Over the past 10 years alone, thousands of lives have been saved through earlier detection and improved treatments. But, much work remains to be done if we are to achieve our aim of beating cancer.

Hello Peeps.....Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

I can't believe i'm actually doing this race - its so out of character for me to do anything which requires me to get off the sofa!

However, i've actually been doing some training and reckon with a bit of luck i should make it to the end in one piece!! Fingers crossed everyone!

Its an absolutely brilliant cause and i would be soooo grateful if you could sponsor me even if its just a couple of quid to go towards the fantastic work of Cancer Research UK!
