This Autumn I will be kicking off my customary killer heels and donning my trainers - all in the name of charity.
I will be running the Cardiff 10K on Sunday 11th October to raise money in support of my friend and neighbour Katherine Bown. Katherine was diagnosed with breast cancer in February this year, after finding a lump on her honeymoon. She has since come up with a plan to raise £1m for Cancer Research UK - and I want to do my bit to help her reach her goal. To find out more about Katherine and her challenge, visit http://www.justgiving.com/themillionpoundschallenge/
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Cancer Research UK gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor me now and make my trainer-wearing worthwhile!
Thanks, Lydia x
