My story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

I'm running this race in memory of my dear Nan who died in 1993 and had stomach cancer. She is always in our thoughts and our memories are as strong as ever.

For Peter Gallo who died in 2008 and was a really lovely man.  We think often of his wife Maureen and daughters Donna, Debbie and Penny and all his grandchildren who we know miss him terribly.

I'm also doing this in memory of a special man Adrian Sanderson who died in 2008 having bravely fought this horrible disease.  We have many many fond memories of Adrian and will always feel blessed to have known him.

I'm also running for my friend Lorraine who is currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer.  I think she is possibly one of the lovliest people I have ever met and she is always smiling no matter what.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Cancer Research UK gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!

Thank you,
